Zagreb
Zagreb is the vibrant and charming capital of Croatia, along with being its largest city, with more than a million that make it home.

There are many sights to explore in this wonderful city. Located in the Upper Town is the site of the magnificent twin-spired Zagreb Cathedral and the colorful roof of St Mark’s Church.

Nearby lies the fabulous cobblestoned Tkalciceva Street, lined with numerous outdoor cafes which makes it ideal for strolling.
For old-world and cobbled street explorers like us the old town of Zagreb will not disappoint with its beautiful centuries-old buildings. The interesting note is the impact that the Yugoslavia era had on the cityscape of Zagreb.

For coffee drinkers like ourselves we were in our element with the seemingly endless row of cafes and well-developed coffee culture.
To get a sense and taste of local life a great activity is to visit the local Dolac Market which is an open-air fruit and vegetable market. Its location in old town provides a wonderful backdrop for it.
