Cavtat is the most southern town in Croatia. It was originally a Greek settlement called Epidauros. Today the town, with its seafront filled with shops and restaurants, has a population of some 2,200 inhabitants, and is itself part of the Dubrovnik Riviera.
The Cavtat area is really fun to experience because of the Mediterranean vegetation, which covers the whole area; and the crystal clear sea and the great mix of old and new architecture.
